Brief Introduction of China Science and Technology Think Tank Forum
The China Science and Technology Think Tank Forum is hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology, undertaken by the China Association for Science and Technology Innovation Strategy Research Institute, and co-organized by the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association. The academic exchange forum invites experts and scholars from science and technology think tanks and related institutions to work together to discuss China's scientific and technological innovation and development, and better serve innovation-driven development and scientific decision-making by the party and government, contribute to the next decade and beyond.
In order to implement the strategic plan of "strengthening the construction of think tanks with Chinese characteristics" put forward by the 19th CPC National Congress and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important speeches on scientific and technological innovation, give full play to the organizational advantages of the China Association for Science and Technology, and promote the innovation capacity building and cross-border integration and development of China Science and Technology think tanks, sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology Innovation Strategy Research Institute, it aims to create an academic exchange forum with strong overall, strategic and historical influence, and invite experts and scholars from science and technology think tanks and related institutions to work together to discuss China's scientific and technological innovation and development, better serve innovation-driven development and scientific decision-making of the party and government, and contribute to the next decade and even more long-term development. The forum is held once a year, focusing on the core challenges of the new journey of building a scientific and technological power and the key issues of China's economic development towards high-quality development. Experts and scholars from party and government departments, scientific and technological think tanks, universities, scientific research institutes and enterprises are invited to adopt keynote reports, Expert dialogues and other forms to discuss China's scientific and technological innovation and development, and contribute to the construction of a "community with a shared future for mankind. At present, the forum has been successfully held for five sessions.
